Hi sistas! I’m Kira. 

Welcome to the place for all things girl talk. I am so glad to have you here! 

I created this blog as a way to share my tips and tricks to get through life in the girl world—because we all know how challenging it can be at times.  I hope to do nothing if not inspire you to feel like the beautifully empowered person you are! 

I am a small-town Iowa farm girl through and through but have since moved to Kansas City (go Chiefs!), after graduating from Iowa State University with my degree in Event Management. Happy hour is my favorite hour of the day, and you really can’t go wrong with a good iced coffee. I enjoy cooking and creating my own recipes, you could say food is my love language! My boyfriend and I have two children together—fur children that is. We have two ~extremely~ spoiled (well loved?) Golden Retrievers but would have 50 if I could! Western fashion and llifestyle has always been apart of my life growing up (proud daughter of a Dairy Farmer!). I LIVE EAT BREATHE all things horses, and will forever be a crazy horse girl.

I am a firm believer that feeling fabulous shouldn’t have to drain the bank. That’s where my passion for kiramae.com originated from. I love sharing where I have gotten items from but am even more thrilled when I can proudly say that I didn’t have to sell my kidney for it…haha!
