Hey all! Happy humpday, can you believe that we are almost halfway through September? I feel like this summer has absolutely flown by! While I am super bummed about saying goodbye to summer, I am NOT bummed to say goodbye to 2020. I mean what. a. year.
However, I am excited to share with y’all a few of my Amazon favorites from this month. Full disclosure, I am not the biggest Amazon “guru”. Although, I do give credit where credit is due, and these products are totally rave worthy. I think it is also important to note that I haven’t been able to find these exact products anywhere other than Amazon.
Let’s get to it!
1. My first Amazon rave, and honestly my most favorite as well. This cold brew maker is exactly what I needed to cut down on my obscene Starbucks/Dunkin spending. It is extremely user friendly and has held up remarkably well. Depending on how strong you like your coffee, it takes about 24 hrs-2 days to “brew”. I use a Starbucks coffee bean that I grind at home, but any ground coffee will work! If you take anything away from this: you *need* this cold brew maker.
2. Of course, to go with your fresh iced coffee, you’ll want the most ~aesthetically pleasing~ mug to drink it out of, (I’m pretty sure that makes it taste better, right?). This campfire mug is the definition of fall aesthetic. Not to mention, the mug itself is larger than most mugs (13 oz). You can snag this ‘lil beauty for under $14 + prime 2-day shipping.
3. While on the topics of drinks, I present to y’all my most practical purchase to date. These stainless-steel beauties are not your average reusable straw. They have a silicone tip on them, meaning the days of poking yourself with a metal straw are over. I am not exaggerating when I say I use these straws daily. They have *significantly* increased my water intake (willing to bet it doubled it!). They are tall enough to fit in your biggest tumbler and have shown no signs of rusting. I use these for my water, iced coffee, and happy hour beverages ;). On top of that, they come with their own cleaning brushes as well. A total win in my book!
4. Switching gears slightly but hear me out! One thing that has absolutely transformed my closet are velvet hangers. They create such a sense of unity and cohesiveness, while being attractive in comparison to the typical plastic hanger. Of course, the biggest question is: do they work? Absolutely! I no longer have tank tops sliding off on to the floor. Now, to completely switch out your hangers can get expensive, I get that. I spent about 6 months slowly rotating the new in for the old. They truly are the “super hanger” of all hangers. There are a few colors to consider, but once you pick one, I suggest sticking with it in order to create that organized appearance. NOTE: I struggled to find black velvet with gold metal (not rose gold). This has been the only place I can find them, in addition to Homegoods or TJ Maxx. The difference with the Amazon hangers, is that they don’t come with a brand stamped on each hanger, like TJ Maxx or Homegoods does.
5. Last, but definitely not least, the infamous Amazon tank top. Y’all didn’t think I would leave this one out did you? This cami/bra/tank (what have you), BROKE and I mean broke the internet a few weeks ago. It is supposedly a spot-on dupe for a large name athletic retailer. While I cannot speak to that, I can speak on these workout tanks. They really do live up to the hype. Great material, awesome support, and a flattering cut. They come in a variety of colors to fit your own personal wardrobe. Personally, I have the light gray and black, which I have found myself wearing almost daily (wearing one as I type this now). The one thing I will put out as a PSA is that the straps are not adjustable. Keep this in mind, as well as the compression of these tanks. I highly recommend sizing up especially if you are in between sizes. I purchased the small, and it definitely is “compressive”. However, this retailer offers free returns, so if it ends up not being your style or fitting how you’d like, just ship it on back.

This concludes my first “Amazon Favorites” post, I hope you guys found this helpful and enjoyable! Let me know if this is something we should continue into the 2021 year.
Cheers!
