Hey y’all! Finishing off the clothing roundup from my Miami trip. If you missed Part 1, click Here to read.
Next, let’s talk clothing. Normally, Traeton and I will spend all day at the beach/pool and then head to a restaurant at night. So, I really only “need” to pack swimsuits + dinner outfits since we don’t spend much time away from the hotel during the day. That being said, I still pack daytime outfits because…well… I am an avid #overpacker and #overthinker LOL.
Daytime Outfits
My instant go-to were the infamous Target shorts. For $15, you really cannot go wrong! Perfect for running to a nearby coffee shop or hoping on a bike for a beachside ride. If in between sizes, I recommend sizing down. Wearing a size 4 in all pairs!
I also like to bring a couple of coverup options to rotate through during the week. This Free People look-alike button-up was perfect to throw on to head to the beach! It’s lightweight and breathable + it covers the booty. I recommend sizing up a few sized in this to achieve the oversized look. In the black I am wearing a large, and in the blush pink I am wearing an XL.
It never fails that at least ONE day is rainy, windy, cold or all of the above (or at least that’s our luck!). Since the beach weather can be so unpredictable, I like to bring along a few “warmer” options for early morning breakfast, or an evening walk on the beach. A good zip-up jacket is great for layering, and this two piece set was SO soft and warm for morning coffee on the pier.

Nighttime Outfits
I have so much fun picking out dresses to wear for our nightly dinner dates, since back home I don’t have the option to wear them as often…AKA you know I best be taking advantage of the opportunity ;). Depending on where you travel, some restaurants can have form of a dress code. Normally, will I try to stay away from pieces that were too short, cropped, or strapless-just to be safe. (Also: If you aren’t traveling, these dresses would be a great option for attending a wedding or Easter!)
My most favorite dress was this camel colored Midi Dress. The material is super comfortable + stretchy, and the slits are so flattering! I am wearing a size medium. It also comes in several other colors.
A close runner-up, (and y’alls favorite!) was this Gingham Fit ‘n Flare dress. Again, so stretchy (which is a plus when you’re on that vacation diet), and the color screams SPRING! It also comes in a few other pastel colors + under $50. Wearing a size medium.

Shoe Roundup:
To round out the Miami outfit recap, I’m sharing my most worn shoes. Easily overlooked, but SO important to have a few staples in order to avoid taking up too much room or weight in your suitcase! I wore these black slides *daily* to and from the pool and beach. Lightweight, comfortable, and AFFORDABLE. I also have been impressed with these Target wedges, comfy and transitional.
…That’s all she wrote! Please do not hesitate to shoot me any questions on sizing, fit, etc. As always, thank you for being here – with out all of you, there would be no Kira Mae!
with love,
