White Bodysuit: 4 Ways

Date
May, 25, 2020

Hi all!

Recently I had shared on my Instagram story how to get more use out of the staples in your closet. I thought I would break it down into a blog post for you all to refer back to throughout the summer. The “staple” piece I chose to use, is a white bodysuit with ruffle straps. Honestly though, any white bodysuit will do the trick!

This first outfit would be great for a concert, festival, fair, or any event that you want to look a little ~edgier~ for. I chose to pair it with a jersey kit cardigan/duster, just to show how you can layer for cooler nights. This cardigan is a great option, as it is super lightweight and stretchy! I topped it off with a wide brim hat and some booties to complete the western/boho vibe. Don’t forget the denim shorts

Next is a much more casual outfit. To be honest, it is the outfit that I would probably wear 9/10 times since it is sooooo comfortable. I LIVE in these joggers normally, so it only made sense to add them to another outfit! I really think that what completes the look, however; is the ball cap and sneakers. Fresh white sneakers are such a staple for me, since you can wear them with just about anything: skirts, dresses, denim, or in this case…joggers!

Alright, ya’ll. This outfit makes me actually WANT to go back to work…it’s that good. I chose my favorite paper bag pants, since I wear them for work all the time anyways. (Note: these look professional but let me tell you, they feel like I’m wearing my pajamas!) I again layered a blazer for added warmth in a cold office, or if dress code requires covered shoulders. Can we talk about the real showstoppers here though? These heels are SO sassy and fun! They definitely spice up any boring work outfit and would look great with a pair of skinny jeans as well. I personally love this outfit though, because it can so easily be transformed into a chic patio happy hour look. Lose the blazer and sub the heels for a pair of sandals and BOOM. Instant babe!

Last, but DANG definitely not least. This outfit makes me feel like a spicy ‘lil mama. All you need is a good mini skirt, and some bomb chunky heel sandals. Jewelry will really contribute to the vibe you want also. I chose a chunky locket necklace and some gold bangles to give it a little sass. This look is so perfect for a GNO, or a hot date with your mannnnn ;).

That completes this week’s staples: styled post. I hope y’all loved this a much as I did!

Cheers,
